This sterling silver pendant necklace features a forward and verso view of a real butterfly wing. The Morpho Sulkowskyi butterfly is commonly known as the Mother of Pearl Morpho. The butterfly has a soft creamy pearl essence with a blue shimmery sheen. The verso side of the wings are patterned in light beige and white stripes and eyespots. The wings are so reflective they can appear to change color depending on what angle they are viewed at. These butterflies are found in South America as well as Mexico and Central America. These pendants are hardy and will retain their vibrant long lasting colors.
