This sterling silver pendant necklace features a forward and verso view of a real butterfly wing. The Morpho Didius butterfly (common name: Giant Blue Morpho) has shimmering iridescent blue wings. The underside of the wings are beige/tan with brown/orange eyespots. These butterflies are found mostly in Peru. This pendant has a paisley shape design with a filigree bale. The overall size of the pendant is 1″ wide x 2.5″ long. The pendants are hardy and will retain their vibrant long lasting colors. We ask that you avoid exposing them to moisture, which includes lotions and perfumes, along with prolonged exposure to hot direct sunlight. The pendant is handmade in Peru and comes on a sterling silver 16″ box chain!
