This sterling silver pendant necklace features a forward and verso view of a real butterfly wing. The Morpho Sulkowskyi butterfly is commonly known as the Mother of Pearl Morpho. The butterfly has a soft creamy pearl essence with a translucent blue shimmery sheen. The verso side of the wings are a creamy white with beige patterns and some eye spots. The wings are so reflective they seem to have an almost holographic iridescent quality and change color depending on what angle they are viewed at. These butterflies are found in South America as well as Mexico and Central America. These pendants are hardy and will retain their vibrant long lasting colors. We ask that you avoid exposing them to moisture, which includes lotions and perfumes, along with prolonged exposure to hot direct sunlight.
